Drew Hernandez And Daily Caller Reporters Released After Being Arrested In Louisville

The Tatum Report’s Drew Hernandez, as well as The Daily Caller field reporters Shelby Talcott and Jorge Ventura were released  Thursday by the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) after spending more than 12 hours in jail.  The reporters were detained Wednesday night.

All three reporters were covering the Louisville riots when police grouped them in with protesters and began detaining people. All three were put in zip-tie handcuffs, despite identifying themselves as press.

They were charged with breaking curfew and unlawful assembly in connection with allegedly failing to disperse and move to a designated media observation area.  These are misdemeanors.
